Family Fishing Trip!

Our Family had a BLAST last week, camping and fishing in the High Sierra's. I wish the trip would have been twice as long! The kids were thrilled to have Jeff there this year too. They kept him so busy with walks, Hikes, fishing, s'mores, games, stories etc. They were non-stop! We were so lucky to be able to visit and bond with so many great people. This trip is on our to-do list every year to come!

Here are some highlights...

California Here we come!

The kids took Shooting Lessons from Dad! Parker and Hailey LOVED this. (I did not get a picture of Parker)

Natural Target shooter like Dad

Should I be nervous?

Getting Ready to fish!

Playing Lots of games!

One of the days we drove the kids up to June lake and went Hiking around some waterfalls. We did not get right up to it, but close. The kids thought it was great!
Our destination..

Getting Closer

When we were close to the waterfalls, there were two deer that were gazing along the stream and were so close to us.

Where do we go from here?

Berkley stayed and snuggled up with Grandma and Grandpa while we were gone!

Then we took the kids to the Obsidian Dome to look at volcanic rocks

The kids found snow and had a mini snowball fight

Addy and Savanah

Yeah right Parker, don't even think about it.

Berkley LOVED staying warm by the fire

Her cheeks were super chapped from the wind

The kids thought it was so great to cross the creek on this log

At night we played a little Poker and Black Jack

Jeff of course was the dealer and robbed everyone
